slices of life!

some facts observed in daily life: (this is an own attempt...copyrights protected! :P)

from the time we get up:

1. we are awake minutes before the alarm rings, wait for it, jump and switch it off and then doze off again!

2. we get up, eventually! and sit on the sofa and wait for some "peace" and "quite" and the door bell rings!..the maid arrives!

3. we reluctantly brush and sit down again and wait for mom to give us a hot cup of milk/tea/coffee, as if we it were petrol for this engine like body.

4. then we ON the geyser and read the newspaper as we wait for the water boil and curse the politicians and grumble at the present economic scenario (as if given a chance we would change it :P).

5. we take our bath and come out at leisure till someone knocks on the bathroom door

6.we get ready for office after a long debate with our conscious whether to wear that shirt/top or not etc.

7. hit the road to reach our destination and start cribbing about the auto drivers, the bus drivers,an the odd person on the road who tries to cross just when the light turns green!

8. reach office, make your way to your seat, sit down and heave a sigh of relief .

9. start with the usual work and get it done with a lot of grumbling and uncomfortable smiles.

10. leave office as if you are leaving a chakki pisising center and head for home sweet home!

11. again the point 7 repeats, only difference being its pitch dark now with no street lights even on the busiest of the main roads!

12. reach home and just drop dead on the sofa, as if we just waged war and got home!

13. wait for a goddess like mom to give some nectar like water to quench the throat which is as dry as the Namibian desert!.

14. then regain some energy and chat with family members about the office that day, listen to mom crib about the maid, the milkman, the groceries guy asking to pay more for the rice!

15. the king of the house:dad drops in and the same points 12 and 13 are enacted.

16. dad asks about the office, but i fwd him to mom for the details i already told her :P

17. dinner time is the total opposite of the "English" lifestyle!...we chat and chat till the neyyi solidifies and the charu gets cold!:P

18. then i switch on the comp and get ol, chat with frnz and join in the underground community of CRIB and talk about office, gals, money an what not!..

19. then i hit the bed and "try" to get some sleep, thinking not about some hot model or a beautiful gal i saw at work!, but of the next day wherein the same points are going to unfold, but hoping for a better point to surface among the obvious others :)

20. doze off!..

the above points might have bored you to death!..but that is what is happening in my life!
i did'nt try to put in superficial events or use hifi words here, coz am not FAMOUS! :D.. lol!

aate jaate :D

hey all u recent grads!..supp??...

hehe..i knw.."nudin much"..life after college does'nt really sum up to all the efforts we put in during school, plus 2 and graduation..its just another "responsibility" we have to take to make life in "future" comfy!..
i my self had loadsa relatives and family members come up to me an say."beta, jus this 2 years of hard wrk and life would b smooth"..this was in my 8th class..then the same crowd in my +2 "two more years an life would b gr8"...an then again the same people in my engineering "macha...4 years...life is in your hands...make the best use of em an come out trumps"...now..its been a yr since i grad and started working...even till date some odd relative comes up in some party or a family get together an asks "what are you doing these days beta?"..am like" wrking in blah blah as blah blah"....the person says "see, in an organization we have to prove our worth..an reach the top ..then only we can survive in this highly competitive world" and am like...yea sure..you telling me about competition...been facing it right from school!!..hehe..

all this apart it was great graduating and feeling high about it..getting a job when in college was another high..but after that...it was back to the same old stuff...work..earn money...save...njoi...then again work...etc....Life has become so darn mechanical, there is no meaning to it (for me atleast!!). you have been through so much of stress right from school to college an then again in work..i sometimes feel, will it ever end??..its not that am only "cribbing" about all this..its just what i have been observing from the past one year+ of my grad.

i guess there is no solution to this so called problem or situation, the only thing you could do is..chill out on weekends and when Monday morning arrives..gear up...an start "praying" for the week to end soon!!:P

this has been my first attempt at blogging...i started off wid a problem faced by many young people of this gen i suppose....

mommy dearest!

let me start off with the obvious fact that "we always lose a fight with moms" :D....today i was in a damn lazy mood and decided not to take a bath (today being a Saturday!!)...i was hungry and asked mom what was for lunch, she said "menu only after you take your bath"..i was like..what!..come on..its a saturday and am old enough to decide what i should be doing...but no!..she was adamant..i was so pissed off that she started taking decisions for me, even till date!..so i did the regular natak baazi and said "ok, i wont eat today and even if i wanted to i will go out and eat or serve myslef"..but as i already mentioned i was "lazy" and i could not decide what to do...an giving in to the laziness and the fact stated above i TOOK my bath! :(...

the moral of the story is(for me atleast) : laziness wont get you shit!..and mom's are always right:P
